This was a quick shot at Eucalyptus urophylla residues coming from a sawmill in Brazil. A beautiful mess.

I do not have a dog — I prefer cats, by the way — but I understand that pet owners like to buy gifts for their animals. But what happens when your dog has everything? Well, you just buy a ‘Pet Thing’.

Left the laptop in a corner of the living room and presto! Simple study with lamp, fish tank, plant, TV and unwanted reflection. I don’t know, it just feels right.

Walking in Salvador, Bahia I came across this street sign, showing the (imperfect) intersection of poetry and marketing. The sign points to Vinícius de Moraes Square, and someone put a sign for a music shop.

While in a forestry tour in Brazil we came across this car in one of the companies’ carpark in Canoinhas, Santa Catarina, Brazil. According to Brazilians the dealer’s German surname is pronounced ‘fukeh’.

I was coming back from a meeting in one of Mechanical Engineering’s rooms when I came across this door, which is not supposed to be a door.

The power of a definition: just stuck a sign that says ‘this is not a door’ on a door and, presto!, it is not a door anymore.
